Interns are expected to work eight hours per day, five days per week. Each intern's actual schedule will vary. If work is required on weekends or in the evenings, an equivalent amount of time may be taken off during the week. In some countries work may be 6 days per week with an equivalent amount of time taken off for 1-2 weeks at a time to allow for independent or group travel in the country of internship. In some cases scheduled, free, 1-2 week travel programs will be included in the internship and Ormita will cover rail pass / bus pass and associated costs of additional sight-seeing travel. Where an internship lasts longer than 6 months a vacation, interns will be granted two weeks of vacation. Vacation time must be scheduled with the approval of Ormita.
